Revelation 19:7

Revelation 19:7

Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

Hosea 2: 14-16

“Therefore I am now going to allure her;
I will lead her into the wilderness
and speak tenderly to her.
There I will give her back her vineyards,
and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope.
There she will respond as in the days of her youth,
as in the day she came up out of Egypt.
“In that day,” declares the Lord,
“you will call me ‘my husband’;
you will no longer call me ‘my master. ’

The beautiful love story of the Bible. A King looking for his bride. Ephesians 5:32 this is a profound mystery but I am talking about Christ and the church. The small versus placed right in the middle of the paragraph titled wives and husbands…truly a profound mystery.

We just celebrated the Feast of Weeks also known as the Feast of Pentecost in the book of Acts 2. This is the time when the Holy Spirit was given was at the Feast of Pentecost. In the Old Testament this is when Moses went up to Mount Sinai and was given the 10 commandments. This is actually a marriage covenant between God and his people. When Moses came down from the mountain to give it to the people they were then celebrating with paganism and having a big party. 3000 people were killed that day out of disobedience. Fast forward to the New Testament, this is when Christ fulfilled It again by giving us the Holy Spirit and the Ten Commandments being written on our heart. Three thousand were added to the number that day. It’s so fascinating to me to see how this is a marriage covenant between God and his people. In the Old Testament eventually in the book of Jeremiah 3 verse 8 God gave Israel a certificate of a divorce for her adulteries. So again in the New Testament we see that Jesus came and once again he’s seeking out his bride.

In the Book of Revelation when it says let us rejoice for the Bride made herself ready, we see that the responsibility falls on us to be take on the responsibility to ready ourselves.

In marriage one of the first things that you learn about your soon-to-be husband are the things that make him feel loved. This is also important with God, that we need to understand what is love to him. If you look in 1 John 5:2 it says: by this we know that we love the children of God when we love God and keep his Commandments, for this is love of God that we keep his Commandments and his Commandments are not burdensome. So God defines loving him in the Bible as keeping his Commandments. So we must ask ourselves are we keeping his Commandments?

Some refer to obeying the commandments as the 2 greatest one’s in the new testament, as though the original 10 were done away with.

Matthew 22:37-40 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. And the second is like it to love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.

But the Ten Commandments hang on those two meaning that the first five Commandments are all about loving God. And the last five are all about loving your neighbor as yourself. So we must examine ourselves to see if we’re obeying all Ten Commandments. When I did this I recognized that I was obeying all of them, with the exception of the fourth one. To obey the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. This was truly convicting to me as I looked up every single scripture the talked about the Sabbath in the Bible and realized that God made a Sabbath as a sign between God and his people. There is so much significance to The Obedience of this.

Even when you look over and Revelation 1412 Here is the perseverance of the Saints who keep the Commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
Some people would argue that it’s all about faith in Jesus, but it is also about keeping the Commandments because this is love for God.

As our family began to obey the Sabbath we were humbled as God begin to reveal so many more mysteries in the Bible, allowed our minds to open to understand prophecy and the times we are living in. God began to show us deeper and deeper who he was. I cannot explain the incredible peace that comes from obedience to the Sabbath. Our lives are by no means perfect but they are peaceful. There is a supernatural spiritual blessing that takes place with obedience to God. There is no other way to get to Freedom except obedience. In the book of Daniel it was prophesied that Knowledge would increase. I continue to meet so many people in my journey that God is calling them and teaching them the same things. That he is truly calling his bride to prepare herself.

There is no other greater calling in this lifetime or for eternity then to be the Bride of Christ. Just as we would never want to marry a man that was forced into marrying us, this is also the same with Christ. Not everyone will be the Bride. This is truly a willingness, a desire to follow the Lamb wherever he goes. When my eyes were opened spiritually and I could discern what was being revealed to me, I began to weep. I know when I was about to get married, I longed to be with my husband. And the same way I long for the for my coming King. I pray often Jesus please come. Do you? Is this on your heart is this on your mind?
